Marcelo and Márcia, a successful couple, have different social backgrounds. She's always been rich and attached to tradition, while her husband hasn't. One day he leaves for another city, Angra dos Reis, where he meets two girls, Lena and Tânia. Marcelo and Lena get involved, while Tânia is jealous. One night the three go to a party, where a tragic accident happens.

Winter, Friday. A group of young university students leave for a weekend in São João da Cruz to celebrate their promotion to the prestigious Academic Life Association (AVA). The young people's fun turns to terror when, at night, on Praia da Cruz beach, a hazing ritual is taken to the extreme.

Celebrating the 100th anniversary of the newspaper O Globo, the documentary was created by Pedro Bial and combines previously unpublished interviews, historical reconstructions and archives from the newspaper and TV Globo.
